IGRS Summer Outing: itinerary and booking

We now have the full itinerary of the IGRS Ireland Branch Summer Outing which will take place on Saturday 15 June.

Visiting:
Roscrea Castle and Damer House, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary,
St Cronan’s Church, Tuamgraney, Co. Clare,
Workhouse Centre and Portumna Castle and Gardens, Co. Galway
Cost per person: €55 (includes travel by coach, all entrance fees, morning refreshments, lunch and afternoon tea).

The itinerary

8:30 am:     Coach departing from National Museum, Kildare St., Dublin 2.

10:00 am:    Refreshments at Roscrea followed by a tour of Roscrea Castle and Damer House, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary

1:30 pm:      Lunch at Teach Uí Bhriain (Nuala’s), Tuamgraney, Co. Clare

2:45 pm:      Visit St Cronan’s Church and Heritage Centre

4:00 pm:      Visit to Workhouse Centre and Portumna Castle and Gardens, Co. Galway, followed by afternoon tea

8:30 pm:      Approximate time of arrival back in Dublin.

The Summer Outing is always great fun and has rightfully achieved a reputation for being extremely good value. Feel free to invite along your friends and family, but do be sure to book promptly because the coach can take only limited numbers.
